🎯 Purpose:
The iR-ETN40R is a compact Ethernet-based I/O module that serves as a gateway for Modbus TCP Server and EtherNet/IP Adapter networks.
The device integrates into the iR series and provides:

  • 📡 connection of both high-speed and standard digital signals,
  • ⚙️ flexible I/O expansion,
  • 🛡️ protection and continuity of automation systems.

⚙️ Main Technical Specifications:

  • 🔗 Communication interfaces: Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, 10/100 Mbps, up to 8 TCP connections.
  • 🔌 Digital inputs: 24 (20 standard + 4 high-speed up to 20 kHz, PNP sink/source).
  • ⚡ Digital outputs: 16 relay channels (2A/channel, up to 8A total), isolated.
  • 🛑 Special functions:
    • “Stop Output” — instant shutdown of outputs in case of an emergency.
    • “Pulse Capture” — registers pulses shorter than 1 CPU cycle.
  • 📦 I/O expansion: up to 16 additional iR modules (+224 inputs, +112 outputs, up to 64 analog channels).
  • 💡 Indicators:
    • ENET (green — operating, red — error),
